i started this project almost a year ago and compeltly forgot about it since i didnt knew how to continue on from what i had, and work got in the way

at first the dress was well it had nice cloth wrinkles but thats about it, i wanted it to be more magnificient and magical, rather than boring and modern
in the end i found out that i could add detail very simply by making a lace, all it took is a black and white image that i used as an alpha, so i went with that, and after finding the right lace, it worked quite well,

the fun part was getting the uv map to work, since this dress was very high poly, what i figured out in the end that if i make a decimated version of it, UV map the decimated version and work on that, i can really quickly project my uvs in blender even if the mesh is really high poly, it worked out perfectly

then i wasnt really happy with the face, but i collected alot of refrences and i managed to polish it to look the way i wanted,
then it was the hair, its always dificult to get a dynamic hairstyle, but i just tried to be kinda random with it and follow an imaginated flow, i think it worked out well

and i just rendered it out and there we go,

im really glad with how it turned out, im happy that i took a break from this model every few weeks so i was able to look back at it and not rush it cause i was bored of the project or something like that,

i hope you will enjoy this project as much as i did <3

so i mashed up a bunch of laces together and used a little bit of ai to help me get the right style of lace that would work and it was looking much better once i was done
